Just for the hell of it.

Guess it's time I post something that amuses me. And in this case, baffles me as well!

I moved to the Midwest a year ago (god, has it really been that long?) and I'm still getting used to the people here. So completely different from where I'm from. I've noticed that a lot of the women here have a kind of "I give up" look about them. No makeup. Bad haircut. Sweat pants/pajama bottoms. Baggy (sometimes stained &/or holey) t-shirt. That's the basic uniform. Not only that, but they look at least 5-10 years older than they are. Here's the part that amuses/baffles me, they all have a perfect tan or at least have their nails done! So, what's the point? Why bother getting your nails done and/or tanning when you don't care about how the rest of you looks? It makes me laugh and makes my brain ache at the same time. If only I had the balls to ask one of 'em.
